The DPA 4066 offers clean and transparent sound quality with lots of headroom. Known for its pristine sound and durability, it has been the chosen headset mic for broadcasters, theaters on Broadway, and in many auditorium and lecture halls for many years.
The headset construction is unique, the mic boom is detachable from the headset mount to enable switching it to either the left or right side of the wearer. It is also built to withstand rough environments, humidity, often an issue in theatrical applications, is not a problem due to the double-vent protection system and a ‘sweat drop stopper’ on the microphone boom. The materials inside the mic are also water resistant to a degree.
The microphone’s sensitivity is 6 mV/Pa. This matches the level of the human voice to the general input sensitivity of most wireless transmitters. If powered correctly, the microphone can handle very high sound pressure levels up to 144 dB SPL before clipping occurs.

Designed as the alternative to DPA’s omnidirectional mics for challenging acoustic environments where a directional microphone is the better choice, the 4080 Cardioid Lavalier captures the human voice with the same clarity that DPA is renowned for. This mic offers maximum side rejection and excellent sonic focus on the subject. It is designed for broadcast, conference and other live performances both in the studio and in the field.
It is acoustically pre-equalized, offering a 4 dB presence boost, which matches the mic’s chest placement perfectly. This makes the voice more distinguishable and improves speech intelligibility. Professionals will appreciate that it is lightweight and offers excellent speech reproduction.
This mic is delivered with a pre-mounted black pop filter in a holder with an integrated shock mount, fixed on a clip. An additional white pop filter is also included. Because of the flexible and practical mounting solution, the mic can easily be turned in all directions so it fits both left- and right-buttoned shirts.

6060 CORE Subminiature Lavalier Microphones are just 3 mm (0.12 in) in size but pack the audio power of our larger, award-winning DPA mics. What they lack in size, they more than make up for in clarity, consistency and durability
The 6060 shrinks DPA's CORE technology down to a 60% smaller size that still delivers extended dynamic range and extremely low self noise for outstanding sound quality. An included capsule protection grid protects the mic element and supplies a subtle 4 dB soft boost between 8 to 20 kHz, lightly enhancing signal presence to ensure clarity.
With an SPL rating of 134 dB, the microphone is more than capable of handling most standard speakers, vocalists, and presenters. The 6060 CORE is powered by 5 to 10V plug-in power from a wireless transmitter and features a modular design using a Microdot output connector.
This omnidirectional condenser lavalier microphone is small in size, but mighty in flexibility. Due to its miniature size, it exhibits an exceptionally accurate omnidirectional pattern and therefore does not need to be aimed directly at the sound source to achieve quality pickup. The omnidirectional pattern also makes it less sensitive to handling noise as well as pop and wind noise.
Originally designed for use with wireless systems in theaters, today it is one of the most loved mics for television and film applications as well. It is especially suited for capturing speech in all of its nuances and can be used to close-mike a wide range of instruments. This microphone handles sound pressure levels up to 134 dB before clipping occurs. This mic is well suited for applications where the sound source is more remote or damped and you need to have a good balance signal versus noise.

The classic 4088 Directional Headset Microphone is the industry standard in professional headset mics. It offers an open and natural sound making it ideal for both spoken word and vocal performance applications.
The 4088 provides excellent off-axis rejection in high-SPL situations. It efficiently suppresses distant sound sources making it perfect for demanding live performance environments where background noise and feedback are concerns. The bass response is designed for optimal linearity at 2-3 cm (1 inch) from the sound source. This means that the bass roll-off will be relatively prominent at a greater distance - a paramount factor when it comes to rejection of background noise and in the fight to avoid feedback.
The boom is 3 cm (1 in) longer than on the omnidirectional version, which matches the need for placement at the corner of the mouth. The mic has a small .64 cm (.25 in) diameter, which allows for discreet use, and the headset only weighs 14 g (.5 oz) and is very comfortable when worn for long periods. The microphone can be mounted on the right or left side.
