Transmitters
The Lectrosonics IFBT4 UHF transmitter was designed for use in broadcast, motion picture, theater, and stage applications where extended operating range and high-quality audio are essential. The IFBT4 can be used as a stand-alone device or patched directly into popular intercom systems.
Lectrosonics Digital Hybrid Wireless™ systems overcome channel noise in a dramatically new way, digitally encoding the audio in the transmitter and decoding it in the receiver, yet still sending the encoded information via an analog FM wireless link. This proprietary algorithm is not a digital implementation of an analog compandor, but a technique that can be accomplished only in the digital domain, even though the inputs and outputs are analog.
Because it uses an analog FM link, Digital Hybrid Wireless™ enjoys all the benefits of conventional FM wireless systems, such as excellent range, efficient use of RF spectrum, and resistance to interference. However, unlike conventional FM systems, it does away with the analog compandor and its artifacts.
Microprocessor control provides user-friendly operation and eliminates transients at turn-on and turn-off. The transmitter output is muted in the TUNE mode to avoid generating interference in other wireless systems while scrolling up and down to change frequencies.
The Lectrosonics WM digitla transmitter is designed for wet or dusty environments.
Featuring O-ring sealed battery compartments and input jack, a compression sealed antenna port and a gasket sealed control panel and back cover, the WM is ready to be used in the most extreme environments.

Designed to meet the demands of a variety of RF environments and applications, the “WB” series SM transmitters are tuneable in wideband frequency ranges B1 & C1 with adjustable output power (25, 50 and 100 mW).
The SSM transmitter refines the Lectrosonics exemplery standard of wireless audio transmission into an even smaller belt-pack. Designed for application in theatre, TV/Movie production and sports, the SSM can be easily concealed on talent.
A Lemo 3 microphone connector provides a programmable, regulated bias voltage to provide optimum power to a wide variety of electret microphones.
The LT is the latest in a long line of Lectrosonics belt pack transmitters. The new transmitter combines award-winning Digital Hybrid Wireless® technology, wide tuning bandwidth of 75 MHz, a multi-function toggle switch and the ability to respond to remote commands in a rugged, machined-aluminum housing. A backlit LCD and membrane switch interface makes the LT a snap to set up and use.
The LMb transmitter brings Digital Hybrid Wireless® technology and a wide, 75 MHz tuning bandwidth to a moderate cost level while preserving superb performance in a belt pack transmitter. The LMb is lightweight and housed in a tough, all-metal shell. A 50 mW RF output provides plenty of range and resistance to interference. An LCD and membrane switches make the LMb easy to set up and use. A multi-function toggle switch allows audio muting, power on/ off, or talkback (when used with the SRb or Venue receivers).
The HMa Digital Hybrid Wireless® plug-on transmitter features a DSP-based design that allows the transmitter to operate in its native Digital Hybrid Wireless® mode, Lectrosonics 200 Series, 100 Series, IFB product groups, plus two modes for compatibility with analog receivers from other manufacturers. A unique multi-voltage phantom power feature allows the transmitter to be used with virtually any microphone, including high-current condenser types, expanding its usefulness in high-end applications such as motion picture production and test & measurement.
The HHa Digital Hybrid Wireless handheld transmitter represents an elegant solution for a variety of wireless microphone applications including live performance, broadcast, AV rental and houses of worship. The HHa incorporates many advanced features to provide high-quality speech and vocal reinforcement. Along with providing peerless audio quality with wide frequency response and dynamic range in native 400 Series mode, the technology used in the HHa includes compatibility modes for Lectrosonics 200 Series, 100 Series and IFB receivers, and some systems from other top manufacturers. Interchangeable Capsules:
Lectrosonics HHC & HHVMC cardioid condenser capsules. Thread-on capsules from other manufacturers using a 1.25” opening and 28 thread pitch can also be used, including those from manufacturers such as EV, Shure® , Heil SoundTM, Telefunken® and others.*
The M2T half-rack transmitter houses two stereo transmitters to provide two stereo audio channels, and for up to four mono audio channels in a single rack space. The audio inputs can be individually configured to be analog or Dante compatible. The analog input connectors are full-size XLR/TRS combo types for balanced line-level analog signals while the input preamp circuits use a special balanced amplifier with very high common mode rejection to minimize hum and noise. A Dante™ Ultimo™ interface via dual RJ45 connectors accepts Dante networked audio inputs and can daisy chain the digital stream to additional units via CAT6 cables. An additional RJ45 jack provides an Ethernet connection for programming and control via Wireless Designer™ software and a USB jack on the front panel allows for firmware updates. The transmitter features a full color, backlit LCD for high visibility in any environment, while the chassis is all-metal and can be racked singly or in pairs using included rack mount hardware.
Australian approved version covers B1 band only and is 100mW per RF carrier.
The M2C active antenna combiner is designed as an ideal matching component to Lectrosonics digital transmitters. Up to eight transmitters can feed a single antenna to minimize cabling in multi-channel systems. The inputs are isolated to minimize crosstalk and IM (intermodulation) between RF channels.
The overall architecture of the design provides excellent performance with low power consumption and heat buildup. Front panel indicators display active status of RF inputs. A USB port on the front panel is provided for firmware updates.
HHVMC is a replacement Variable Mic Capsule for the HH Series transmitters which includes adjustments for Bass, Midrange and Treble.
Antennas for blocks 20-26
This is a full size cutting template used to cut the length of the whip for a particular frequency. Lay the uncut antenna on top of this drawing and trim the whip length to the desired frequency.
After cutting the antenna to the desired length, mark the antenna by installing a color cap or sleeve to indicate the color listed in the table below.
The supplied caps can be used several different ways:
1) A color cap on the end of the whip
2) A color sleeve next to the connector with a black
cap on the end of the whip (trim the closed end of
the colored cap off with scissors to make a sleeve).
3) A color sleeve and color cap (cut the cap in half
with scissors).
Color coded antennas for UM belt packs, newer SM series belt-pack units and also newer SR receivers. The block is selected by the user and the antenna is cut to an included template's recommended length. Rugged wire cutters are required. Multiple color coded caps are included. Construction is of nearly indestructible steel wire rope with a stainless steel connector. See also the precut to a block antenna above, the AMM.

Compatibility modes allow the LR to operate with older analog transmitters. Dual antenna diversity improves range and resistance to dropouts. The RF spectrum analyzer and SmartTune capability make quick work of finding clean frequencies on site. A large, backlit LCD provides instant, clear information for setup and status monitoring while operational. Detachable antennas allow for remote antenna mounting.

Settings can be made from the front panel with tactile buttons and color LCD interface, making the unit ideal for use in portable bag systems and on sound carts. An RF spectrum analyzer and SmartTune are built into the receiver to alleviate interference problems in an increasingly congested RF spectrum.
The DSR and DSR5P digital receivers provide the highest level of RF and audio performance available with a versatile feature set in a compact design for camera mounted applications. Settings can be made from the front panel, making the unit ideal for use in camera hop configurations, in bags and on sound carts. An RF spectrum analyzer and SmartTune are built into the receivers to alleviate interference problems in an increasingly congested RF spectrum.
The SRc5P consists of two separate receivers built into a single, ultra compact housings, complete with adapters for video camera receiver slots and for stand-alone use.
Digital Hybrid Wireless® technology provides superb, compandor free audio quality and DSP compatibility modes allow the receiver to be used with a variety of Lectrosonics gear and other brands of wireless systems and with Lectrosonics IFB transmitters.
The two internal receivers can be operated separately, each using switching, antenna combining diversity, or in tandem with ratio diversity reception. The audio outputs of the receivers can be mixed internally, or left separated for discrete recording tracks or external mixing, and a variety of output adapters and mounting options are available for camera slot operation.
The R400a is a high performance, Digital Hybrid Wireless® diversity receiver compatible with all Lectrosonics 400 series transmitters, and a number of analog models. The R400a features a powerful menu-driven LCD graphic display as a convenient means of monitoring performance and altering settings. A built-in RF spectrum analyzer is included to conduct site surveys to find interference-free operating frequencies. Balanced XLR and unbalanced ¼” outputs can be controlled separately. The R400A is offered as a stand-alone unit, as a single-channel 1RU rack unit, or as a dual-channel 1RU rack unit.

The M2R bodypack receiver employs advanced antenna diversity switching during digital packet headers for seamless audio. The 24 bit digital audio stream guarantees high resolution sound quality with wide dynamic range, low noise floor, and rock-solid stereo image. The receiver can select from stereo, mono from left channel only, or mono from right channel only, giving the unit flexibility in terms of the application. The headphone jack is fed from a high-quality stereo amplifier with 250 mW available to drive headphones or earphones to sufficient levels for stage performance or other environments with significant background noise. A high-resolution, color LCD allows for a wide range of menu options, including precise limiter settings, using detailed graphics. The M2Ra runs on two AA batteries for an operating time of over 4 hours with alkaline cells.

Affordable IFB systems perfect for film and broadcast production.
IFBlue is a new professional audio technology brand designed, distributed, supported, and warranted by Lectrosonics, Inc. and manufactured by a Korean firm in ISO9001 certified factories in South Korea and China to the highest standards. The IFBlue value-priced line of products are designed to reach an even broader range of customers in the production, film, broadcast, videography, live event, and house of worship applications.
The IFBlue receiver provides simplicity and flexibility in a tough package that is intuitive for untrained users to operate. In spite of its small size, the receiver pack offers excellent performance and convenience. The dock charging feature and supplied rechargeable batteries make daily use a snap, while 10 programmable preset frequencies give you excellent flexibility on set or in the studio.
The IFBlue receiver pack is offered in five different frequency ranges to match existing T4 transmitters: B1 (537-614 MHz), C1 (614-692 MHz). Transmitters available from Lectrosonics include the IFBT4 or any Digital Hybrid Wireless transmitter in IFB compatibility mode.
Wireless IFB (interruptible fold back) systems are used for talent cueing and crew communications in broadcast and motion picture production. In other cases, the IFB system is used by directors and other management to monitor program audio during a production. The IFBR1B receiver provides simplicity and flexibility in a package that is intuitive for untrained users to operate. Despite its tiny size, the new IFBR1B receiver offers excellent performance on par with all of Lectrosonics’ IFB products.
The IFBR1B is housed in a rugged aluminum package. A wire beltclip is included and provides a secure mounting on a wide variety of belts, pockets and fabrics. An optional “clamp style” spring-loaded belt clip is also available: the IFBR1BBCSL. The IFBR1B is powered for over 8 hours by a removeable, rechargeable LB-50 lithium ion battery. NOTE: The IFBR1B does not ship standard with the single battery charger. To order this unit with a charger, order as a kit: IFBR1B-WITH-CHARGER. The IFBR1B can be dock charged without removing the battery with the optional CHSIFBR1B.
The SRc5P and SRc consists of two separate receivers built into a single, ultra compact housing with adapters for video camera receiver slots and for stand-alone use. Digital Hybrid Wireless® technology provides superb, compandor-free audio quality and compatibility with other wireless systems. The RF performance is extremely stable over a very wide temperature range, making the receiver perfectly suited to the rough environmental conditions found in field production.
DSP compatibility modes allow the receiver to be used with a variety of Lectrosonics systems, other brands of wireless systems and with Lectrosonics IFB transmitters.
Designed for portable field production, the Quadpack simplifies the mounting and interconnection of two SRa Series compact receivers. Lightweight and rugged, it is perfectly at home in bag systems containing mixer, recorder and wireless transmitters used for audio feed to cameras. One set of audio outputs is used to feed the recorder and the other set to feed wireless transmitters.
Power is taken from an external DC source via one or both connectors. Circuitry is employed between the two jacks that takes power from the source with the higher voltage. This can be used to provide a backup power supply where the DC is automatically taken from the opposite jack if power is interrupted at one of them.
To address an increasing demand for more wireless channels in location production, the Octopack combines up to four SRa Series compact receivers into a lightweight, rugged assembly with self-contained power supply and antenna signal distribution. This powerful production tool provides up to eight audio channels in a tiny package ready to work in applications from production cart to a portable mixing bag.
High quality antenna distribution requires the use of ultra quiet RF amps plus isolated and optimally matched signal paths through the circuitry to ensure equal performance from all connected receivers. In addition, the amplifiers used must be high overload types to avoid generating IM (intermodulation) within the multicoupler itself. Octopack meets these requirements for RF performance.
The DCR822 is a compact, 2-Channel digital receiver operating in wireless bands A1-B1 (470.100-614.375)
With a flexible output routing scheme, the unit can be used for a variety of applications, and it contains a digital recorder at 24 bits, 48khz, allowing up to 4 audio tracks to be recorded on a front mounted microSD card.
The receiver utilises Vector Diversity technology with two RF front ends per channel, and a unique phase-matching system and the extremely robust RF front ends of the receiver will hold up in severe RF environments and close carrier spacing.

A 4 Channel, half rack receiver from Lectrosonics.
Operating in wireless bands A1-B1 (470.100 - 614.375) and Containing analog and digital audio outputs, the receiver utilises the Lectrosonics signature digital architecture with remarkable audio quality and ultra-low latency.
Antenna ports on the rear of the unit accept input from remote antennas, and have a ‘loop-thu’ output on the rear to link with other systems.

The Venue 2 Receiver is a modular solution that effectively deals with a congested RF spectrum with a variety of options that allows a system configuration to be idealized for a particular installation or application. The receiver is comprised of several components:
The master rack mount host assembly
Up to six receiver modules
Built-in antenna multicoupler with loop-thru output
Software for setup and control Flexibility is the core concept of the design.
The receiver modules can be operated separately, each with switched diversity reception for a total of six audio channels, or operated in pairs for more robust diversity reception with one audio channel per module pair. Combinations can also be used for special applications where some modules operate independently and others are paired.
*VRT modules are not included
The VRT2 is the compatible receiver module for the Venue 2 Rack Receiver. Each VRT2 receiver module features a tracking front-end filter that travels across the spectrum to stay centered on the selected operating frequency. Under certain conditions, the filter parameters change automatically to minimize IM (intermodulation). When the incoming RF signal is strong, the iQ filter switches to a narrowband mode with reduced gain for additional suppression of signals above and below the operating frequency. This mode is especially useful in applications such as a live stage production where transmitters are generally close to the receiver antennas. In these conditions, IM is prevalent, but the signals that generate it are significantly reduced by the narrowband filter mode.

Adjustable Dipole Antenna
The SNA600 antenna is a versatile tool for use with wireless microphone receivers or IFB transmitters. The center frequency of its 100 MHz bandwidth is tunable from 550 to 800 MHz. The frequency is set by adjusting the dipole elements using the scale printed on the body of the antenna. The elements fold for storage.
The ALP690 is a high-performance LPDA (log periodic dipole array) antenna with a bypassable, built-in RF amplifier for use with wireless microphone receivers in location or studio production. The design delivers +4 dBd of passive gain in a directional pattern to extend operating range, and, when DC power is applied, the amplifier applies gain to overcome loss in long coaxial cable runs. By offering both active and passive operation modes, the ALP690 can be used as a receiver antenna (active or passive) and as a transmitter antenna (passive only).
The antenna is formed with copper traces on a .133” thick glass epoxy high-pressure thermoset plastic laminate material with a durable finish. The skeletal structure reduces wind loading in outdoor use.
The antenna is powered by DC bias inserted on the coaxial cable connected to the 50 ohm BNC jack. This power can be supplied by a Venue Series receiver, an active multicoupler or an inline BIAS-T. When no power is applied, the antenna automatically switches to passive operation. When used in active mode, RF filtering can be selected between 470-608 MHz or 470-700 MHz for operation in different regions.

This adapter enables firmware updates for SR Series receivers through a micro USB port. The adapter attaches in the same manner as the audio/power adapters for SRc Series receivers.

The output of any SR Series receiver can be delivered in analog or digital audio formats using this adapter. The unit will work with all receiver versions to provide audio in the following formats:
AES3 digital audio at 48 kHz sampling with an internal clock
AES3 digital audio with an external word clock at 44.1, 48 or 96 kHz sampling
